When together, she was punctual, organized and focused on maximizing our time. While most seller’s agents are there to get you to list with them and then leave you to the vagaries of the market, Donna found the buyers who were interested in our house’s specific features. She also shows houses so she knows how the other end thinks. She “sold” our house, she didn’t just “market” it. When others say they market your house, that means they take some pictures and list it -- that’s all! Donna was also always available to us, even weekends, holidays, whatever -- this is a very important quality for an agent to have.

We went into the home buying process with the same approach. Little did we know we were doing ourselves a huge disservice by not letting our guard down with Donna. Our search was a roller coaster ride of emotions due to the competitiveness in the housing market particularly in the towns we were looking into. Donna had already warned us that we would have to move quick once we found the house we loved. This among many things she said proved to be true. She guided us through the whole process. It's a tough balancing act for someone in her position since we as the buyers should never feel like we are losing control of our search. We never lost control and at the same time her guidance was always there. Donna always puts her clients needs first. I recall a conversation we had with one of the mortgage brokers as our deal was falling apart since the appraisal came in at almost 80% of our offer (the same house which we bought was later appraised at our offer price). The wrong comps had clearly been used since an appraiser with no expertise in the town the house was located had been used. We were questioning the appraiser selection process and the mortgage broker said to Donna, " listen I want this deal to work since if it doesn't I won't get paid". In that moment Donna said something that truly reflects the kind of client service she provides. She said " it's not about getting paid, it's about making sure that you do what is best for your client." Donna referred us to Alex from Weichert who was able to get our loan to close on schedule even after the 1st one fell apart. She referred us to an Inspector, Jason, who took ample time to explain the house to me. Not only does Donna put her clients needs first, she surrounds herself with the best in the business to get you to close with the house you want, at the right interest rate and at the price you want.
